Ozark Trail Festival Returns to Heber Springs October 3 With Parade, Music and Family Activities

The Ozark Trail Festival returns Saturday, October 3, bringing a day of fall activities to downtown Heber Springs and Spring Park.
Organizers have announced vendors, food trucks, live music, a car show, motorcycle show, poker run, 5K, dog show, cornhole, silent auction and more.
The festival’s parade will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, with participants encouraged to decorate their entries in red, white and blue.
PARADE BEGINS AT 10 AM
The Ozark Trail Festival Parade will begin at 10 AM, traveling along Main Street to Spring Park. Parade participants will line up beginning at 9:30 AM in the Harps parking lot.
This year’s theme is “America Celebrates 250 Years!”
Organizers encourage participants to decorate floats, trucks, boats, wagons and motorcycles with an Americana theme.
5K REGISTRATION OFFERS FREE T-SHIRT BEFORE SEPTEMBER 20
The festival will include the Run to the Wagon 5K.
Organizers say participants who register before September 20 will receive a free 5K T-shirt.
The Battle of the Boards Cornhole Challenge is also planned as part of the festival’s activities.
BIKE SHOW TO BENEFIT CHILD SAFETY CENTER
A motorcycle show sponsored by the Red River Chapter of Outsiders MC will take place in Spring Park’s lower parking area and lower sidewalk area.
Check-in begins at 10 AM on October 3. The entry fee is $20, with registration available on site.
All bikes are welcome. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Child Safety Center of North Central Arkansas.
